Hal Silcox, III, M.D.
While at Emory, Dr. Silcox served on the faculty of the Emory University School of Medicine serving as chief of the spine surgery service at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He also served as resident/spine surgery fellowship education coordinator for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Silcox served as president of the Georgia Orthopaedic Society from 2013 to 2014 and as secretary/treasurer 2009 until 2012.
He has authored numerous peer-reviewed research publications primarily focused on topics relating to spine surgery and spinal disorders. He is additionally the author of six book chapters.
