Maria Stephanos is an American journalist, anchor, and reporter, currently serving as a co-anchor of WCVB NewsCenter 5 at 6:00, 7:00, and 11:00 PM with Ed Harding and Chief Meteorologist Harvey Leonard.

Stephanos also anchors NewsCenter 5 at 4:30 PM and The 10 O’Clock News on MeTV Boston with co-anchor Ben Simmoneau. She also served as a news anchor and reporter for Boston’s WFXT-TV.

Stephanos received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Umass Amherst College. She also has a master’s degree in mass communication from Emerson College.
