Born, on May 10, , to Late Sri Sitaram Bharti, a spiritual wanderer, and Mrs. Manorama Rani Bharti, a school teacher, Mr. Somnath Bharti was brought up in a semi-urban place called Hisua in District Nawada, Bihar.
